Nope flouride is too small and gets through the filter. If you’re concerned with flouride then a prefilter would be best. Although, flouride is a (-) negative charge so it at try to the (+) positive charge titanium/platinum plates inside the machine that’s charged with electricity. Anyway. With it attracting to the (+) plates it takes most of the flouride out the discharge hose, not in the drinking water. It doesn’t remove it all. A prefilter is best if you want everything out of it. dịch

They should drink 8.5, 9.0, or 9.5 pH like us, which has the high electrical charge and is super hydrating. If they drink a bottle of normal, big water, they absorb about 20% and digest 80% of that water. With Kangen Water it’s restructured, small water, and it can get absorbed much better. With Kangen water it’s opposite, 80% absorption before it hits your stomach and digests the remaining 20%. So. The water is 4x more absorbent than regular water. They are different. I know that 11.5 and 2.5 is a ration of 1 gallon 2.5 pH while producing 3 gallons of 11.5 pH. I’m sure the drinking water has a difference between the the drinking water and drainage hose. Test it out. dịch

Huh? It’s 11.5pH top white hose and 2.5 pH out drainage hose which equal 14. There is alway a pH of 14 if you add them together. So when you’re making 9.5 pH, the drainage hose if the difference to equal 14…so 4.5 pH. If it’s beauty (6.0 pH) that’s coming out the top white flexible hose then there is 8.5 pH out the drain hose. But, it’s not recommended to drink the water from the gray hose. Hope that helps. dịch

Depends on what water you're creating first. If it's Clean water, then yea you can use the discharge water. The pH is split from 14. So if you make 9.5, then 4.5 is the discharge. IF you make Strong (11.5) then 2.5 is the discharge. dịch

It is not covered by warranty if you place a machine under the counter. In the US, there is an under counter model, (SD501U) but you have to bolt the machine down, and it has a tray you have to put under the machine and empty each time because it is gravity fed. The display panel isn't that great to look at either, so it's not ideal! Keep the unit on the counter! dịch

Asif R, it depends on your water faucet. I just re-installed my K8 in our new apartment. It took less than a minute to screw the hose attachment onto the faucet however if you have a faucet that pulls out and has a spray head on it. It will require an adapter that Enagic has available. There will be 5 main factor that will affect the alkalinity and anti-oxidant properties:
1. Heat - keep the water in cold or cool place to preserver the quality
2. UV light - store the water in dark container or bag to stop the UV from penetrating into the water
3. Motion - Try not to shake the water too much.
4. Air - when exposed to air, the water will change it alkality (carbon dioxide in the air will acidify the water). The anti-oxidant also will be effect as the air will oxidize th water. Antioxidant property can only be kept for 12-24 hours (negative ORP). Beyone that only alkalinity remains for at least one week if you can maintain the factors mentioned above
5. Time of course.. - even you keep the properties mentioned above in checked. The quality of the water will degrade with time, Anti-oxidant = 24 hrs, alkality=2 wks, hydration= good for long, alkaline minerals= will always be good but may precipitate out into the water if left too long dịch

You can also carry your water on airplanes. You tell the TSA agent that it is "medical water". They will test and give back to you. They should not ask about your medical condition. But, if they do, tell them you have extreme acidosis.

I can't say for sure, but they probably don't talk about diseases because of governmental regulations. I've seen a lot of stories online about kangen water helping people, but the company wouldn't make any claims. Regarding comparison to Britta and Pur, I don't think there would be any comparison. Those are generic water filters. These machines aren't water filters. Though they do filter, their main purpose is in ionization (electrolyzing) of the water. Restructuring the water to high -ORP and optimal pH. No water "filter" can do that. dịch

However, some people drinking a little bit (a few ounces) per day to get the most molecular hydrogen.
